Pink Kitchen Reveal

Alright....the pink kitchen project is pretty much done. Now let me preface....we were working on a $100 budget! Did you hear that all you fancy designers out there?! You can make a big change on a small budget. I had so much fun, Becca gave me the reigns, after she said she wanted a pink kitchen...I said "Let's do it!"
Hope you like it!

Also..I realize that the wall by the fridge is in desperate need of something. I have a plan. It involves chalkboard paint. Thats why I said 'pretty much done'.

The dining room that you're looking at is the next project...gray and roman shades. Excited about that!

Another tid bit...this is an apartment so while we would have done a lot more if we could, we're pretty limited to just painting.

Have a good Wednesday!!!!

Monday Moods

Ohhhh...it's a heavy one today ya'll, maybe it's the rain, maybe the side of the bed that I woke up on, I dont really know, so the color I'm choosing is gray. Gray is really a beautiful color...I love how people are using it in their homes. I love that there's an entire blog devoted to gray, called a Perfect Gray.

Im almost done with my stencil project aaannnnnddd tomorrow after school I'm going to finalize my friend's pink kitchen and take photos (I had a few girls get on to me this weekend about not showing the after pictures!) Just a few things to stick around for this week.

Hope I didn't bring you down!

Sneak Peek

I tell you what, I am SO glad it's Friday. Aren't you? Will and I are leaving shortly to head down to Charleston for a wedding that he's in, we like to compete a little when it comes to how many weddings we're in. We've both been in five but I've also done hair in about four...so I've get him beat! One thing he does have me beat in is wedding toasts, he's SO good at them! It's kind of rediculous, that and thank you cards. I don't think I've ever given a toast... it's good being married to him because he can just speak for both of us!

Anyhow, here's the sneak peek I promised. These images are little amateur, I'm embarrassed, honestly. It's a new stencil project. Woohoo!

Have a wonderful weekend-It's about to colder!!!!!

New Patterns

Hey friends, I found these lovely new fabrics on Fabric.com, a place where I always find great patterns and sweet deals. All these below are all less than $13 a yard! I think they all would make wonderful panel fabric.

I really want to add a soft grey like this to my hall bath, I think it would be great for a shower curtain.

Also, check out this page for more patterns, including a few chevron choices.

Hope ya'll find something you like!

Monday Moods

Hey friends... so here's something new for ya'll, Monday Moods. I'm sure a lot, if not all of us start the week off in a certain mood. Sometimes it's good, sometimes not so much. On this monday I am feeling VERY envious, hence my green room below. Who am I envious of? Well, I'll be honest it's all those lucky bloggers that are going to see the Nate Berkus show together! How fun, not only to see Nate Berkus, but to be together with amazing design bloggers, seeing each others faces, going to Camilla's for drinks after the show, oh it goes on and on. And I am jealous.

I've found some beautiful green inspiration for ya'll today.

Just so you know.

Hey friends! I hope your Wednesday is treating you well. A while back I posted my kitchen overhaul, which you can see here, for all you new comers.
Now when you're doing a DIY renovation as big as a complete kitchen, it can be stressful and you probably will get a little burnt out. It's a lot of work. We started our kitchen reno in July and I still have work to do! I'm not going to say what, because you might start inspecting these pics to spot the unfinished areas! Anyhow, we recently finished our kitchen "bookshelf" with the help of my amazing dad.
Take a look.....

Serving it up!

Let me just say that Amy Atlas is AMAZING! It never fails, every time I visit her site I feel like a kid in a candy store, I can't get enough! Each event is SO unique, and it seems like her visions and ideas are endless. I'm sure a lot of you out there find a lot of joy in throwing fun parties or are always searching for a reason to celebrate, just like me. Amy Atlas is a wonderful source for party inspiration.

I hope you enjoy these as much as I did!! Welcome new followers-I am so excited you're here!

Indie Craft Parade: Top 3

Hey ya'll!! ( can you hear that Georgia accent?)
So what do you think? E from E, Myself, and I  (long time friend from Clemson) broke the news to me that my blog was well overdue for a facelift. I'll admit it hurt a bit, when she told me, but I was so focused on posts and other blogs that I didn't realize how outdated and kind of ridiculous mine was looking! So, thank you E for being a TRUE friend and introducing me to piknic.com
This past weekend we attended the Indie Craft Parade in Greenville. It was SO inspiring! We had to wait outside in line due to the max capacity inside... what a great turn out! There were so many great shops there, but I have picked my top 3 favorites!

Number 1: Paige from Lightnest was a true gem! Offering unique handmade accessories (love the bags!) and I am also a BIG fan of her wreath...I'm hoping she'll have a new one coming out for fall!

Number 2: Emily from Pretty.Simple.Things. Creates beautiful personalized stationary with printing choices from offset, hand silk-screening, or letterpress.

Number 3: The very imaginative and quite funny, Finkelsteins. I don't really know how to put their creatures into words, I just know I REALLY like them, and when I begin having kids, I know I'll definitely be purchasing a few lavender whales and sock toys!

This was Will's favorite because it reminded him of his chest hair. (Is it okay for a child to have a toy with chest hair?)

These were my top three, but I do have to mention that Barb from Knack Studios was there (precious woman!) and everyone that has been around me in the past month knows of my great love for Knack!

Was anyone else there?!

Have a Blessed Sunday!!
